St. Louis
The National Blues Museum opened last month. This interactive attraction of sights and sounds can accommodate private events.
In August 2015, Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel, situated across the street from America’s Center, completed a major renovation and brand change. Formerly the Renaissance Grand, the property has 917 completely remodeled guest rooms, a new lobby and renovated meeting and event spaces.
Adjacent and physically connected to America’s Center, the Courtyard St. Louis Downtown/Convention Center, formerly the historic Lennox Hotel, reopened in fall 2015 after a renovation.
In 2015, the Holiday Inn St. Louis-Downtown Convention Center, located next door to America’s Center, underwent a full renovation.
Kansas City
An 800-room Hyatt Convention Hotel with approximately 75,000 square feet of meeting space will open in 2019 across from the Kansas City Convention Center’s grand ballroom.
The 217-room Hotel Phillips is undergoing a renovation scheduled for completion in November, including updates to guest rooms and meeting spaces.
Branson
Fritz’s Adventure, scheduled to open this summer, will feature an array of activities including ziplining, rock climbing and a ropes course. Private event space will be available.
Lake of the Ozarks
The Lodge of Four Seasons at press time was on track to complete a renovation next month, including updates to guest rooms, lobby and meeting rooms.
Recent updates at Inn at Grand Glaize include a remodeled lobby and refreshed ballroom.
At press time, Tan-Tar-A Resort was on track to unveil updated meeting space this month.
