Scott Pharr

DALLAS

Hilton Anatole announced the promotion of Scott Pharr to the position of director of catering.

An industry veteran and expert within the local Dallas market, Pharr has been an integral part of the Anatole team for 18 years and a member of the hotel’s catering department for the past 13. Pharr first joined the Anatole team in 1998 as manager of the then Wyndham Anatole’s 5-star Nana Grill. Most recently, he served as assistant director of catering, contributing to the department’s notable growth and longstanding reputation of excellence.

“Scott Pharr truly embodies the spirit of the Hilton Anatole and it has been exciting to witness his path to the Director of Catering position,” says general manager Harold Rapoza. “We have no doubt Scott will continue to raise the bar and to solidify the Anatole as the premiere venue for exceptional local events in North Texas.”

As director of catering, Pharr will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s catering operation, including the mentoring and development of junior managers. In this new role, he will also be responsible for increasing awareness for the hotel’s wide variety of venue options for events of all sizes, while leading the team to meet their financial goals. Pharr will play a hands-on role in solidifying and growing key relationships within the local community, while driving the successful booking and execution of all local catering events.

Hilton Anatole has 1,600 guest rooms, over 500,000 square feet of event space, including 11 ballrooms and 79 meeting rooms, and eight restaurants and bars. The resort is currently undergoing construction on a new pool complex that will convert a portion of the property’s seven-acre sculpture garden park and tennis courts into the new facility, which will include multiple heated pools, recreation areas, walking paths, green spaces, an outdoor restaurant and bar, and a 23-seat swim-up bar. In addition, the complex will have two event lawns able to accommodate up to 200 people.
