The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs continues to build and improve on its Wilderness Experience, a collection of upscale spaces for retreats, smaller meetings and reunions that consists of The Ranch at Emerald Valley, Cloud Camp, the recently reopened Seven Falls park and the original Broadmoor fishing camp.
Groups can access Seven Falls in South Cheyenne Canyon via transport from The Broadmoor and explore the fully renovated hiking trails and even climb 224 steps to take in views of the famous waterfalls. New additions to the park include The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure, offering two original zipline courses, and the 1858 fine-dining restaurant, which provides space for 100 guests and breathtaking views.
The Ranch at Emerald Valley and Cloud Camp at the Broadmoor also specialize in providing one-of-a-kind experiences, and even include “all-inclusive” group rates that can be convenient for smaller groups. The Ranch at Emerald Valley’s sweet spot for meetings is in the 20- to 24-attendee range, whereas Cloud Camp can accommodate up to 64 people, based upon double-occupancy. Both venues showcase The Broadmoor’s signature scenic views and plenty of teambuilding opportunities.
Planners interested in checking out all of The Broadmoor’s facilities can register for our upcoming Meetings Today Live! West event (www.meetingstoday.com/live), hosted by the Colorado Springs resort from Sept. 11-14, 2016.
