The circa-1925 Redmont Hotel Birmingham, Curio Collection by Hilton, Birmingham’s oldest hotel, reopened in March following an extensive renovation. The 120-room hotel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, includes a fine-dining restaurant, a rooftop bar and meeting space that includes two ballrooms.
The 100-room Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook opened in October 2015 with a full-service spa, rooftop bar, restaurant and more than 12,000 square feet of meeting space.
A double-branded Hilton—Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites—is scheduled for completion by summer 2017. The hotels will have a combined total of 210 guest rooms along with a restaurant and bar.
The 329-room Hyatt Regency Birmingham–The Wynfrey Hotel, which offers more than 32,000 square feet of meeting space and is situated adjacent to the Riverplace Galleria shopping mall, recently underwent a major renovation, including a new lobby and updated guest rooms and event space.
