AHC+Hospitality announced a new business center, Worklab Business Center by Custer, to its Grand Rapids collection, which includes the Amway Grand Plaza, the JW Marriott Grand Rapids and the Downtown Courtyard Grand Rapids.
“Working alongside AHC+Hospitality will expose Worklab to guests visiting the hotels and will provide an added experience for those that utilize the space,” says Mark Custer, owner of Worklab. “The hotel concierge will be on hand to create a fluid experience for groups and individual workers who are looking for a functional, quiet space to check e-mail, conduct meetings, do business, print documents and share ideas.”
Worklab offers hotel guests and locals access to an executive business and meeting center as well as all of the amenities at AHC’s hotels. Starting at $29 per person, per day, independent workers can utilize the shared space and charge it back to their hotel room. In addition, it will also serve as an additional meeting space for groups.
“All the hotels under the AHC+Hospitality umbrella are known for having outstanding meeting and event spaces. With Worklab, there’s even more to choose from,” says Nicholas Remes, assistant general manager of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. “Whether groups schedule a meeting at Worklab ahead of time, or arrange it last-minute, the flexible space provides a creative and out-of-the-box place to meet.”
The space has views of downtown Grand Rapids, is open to the public and serves food and beverage by The Kitchen Counter by Wolfgang Puck from the Amway Grand Plaza.
