Southfork Ranch
Located in Parker, just minutes from the center of Plano, the fictional mansion of the Ewings from the TV series Dallas is for mixing boots and business. Along with 63,000 square feet of conference and event space, the venue offers tours of the estate, horseback riding and chuck wagon meals. With 10 ballrooms, the ranch can also host catered meals for up to 10,000 people. Favorite choices include Tex-Mex and country breakfasts.

Event 1013
One of the city’s earliest commercial buildings, this Texas State Landmark in Historic Downtown Plano was converted into a versatile event venue in 2009. The original brick and hardwood storefront and indoor Raw Garden offer vintage charm with modern technology. Buyouts are available. The venue hosts events, art, music and other entertaining affairs.

The Amphitheater at Oak Point Park
Situated within the 800-acre Oak Point Nature Preserve, this seasonal (closed in winter) outdoor venue with grass-covered tiered seating can accommodate 1,500 guests for concerts, festivals, benefits and more. Planners can also arrange to use the grassy areas outside the gates for events.

Courtyard Theater
Located in the Heritage Park Historic District, this 321-seat, proscenium-style theater was originally the Cox High School gymnasium, constructed as a Works Progress Administration project in 1938. With a large stage and spacious lobby, the venue flexibly hosts a range of events.

Fairview Farms
Along with its seasonal Farmers Market, this welcoming venue offers the 8,200-square-foot Corral Barn. The country-style event facility can seat up to 350 people and comes with an authentic Western bar, festive string lighting, a full-size stage and dance floor, and an outdoor entertainment gazebo. The venue also features Amigo’s Pottery, which imports fine pottery and tile work from around the world.
