California
Chaminade Resort & Spa completed its renovation of all 156 guest rooms. The historic Mission-style property completely transformed its rooms, suites, bathrooms and corridors to feature a more modern, eclectic, bohemian style reflective of Santa Cruz’s artisan community. Vintage games were incorporated into the design concept with oversized dominoes representing the room numbers and giant crossword puzzles painted throughout the corridors. Life-size abacus headboards and minibar cabinets that resemble antique refrigerators are also part of the guest room decor. The property sits on 300 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains and overlooks Monterey Bay. The resort features 12,000 square feet of IACC-approved meeting space, including 12 meeting rooms.

Monarch Beach Resort finished its year-long, $40 million renovation. The 400 guest rooms, along with the addition of the Miraval Life in Balance Spa by Miraval Group, a redesigned culinary program with five new dining concepts and a new pool area with private cabanas, were all part of the remodel. One of the added dining outlets, 33° North, offers three separate areas, a bar serving handcrafted cocktails, a living room salon and an outdoor patio with live music. The Orange County property features the Robert Trent Jones-designed Monarch Beach Golf Links, three pools, six ocean view restaurants, including Chef Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern, and 30,000 square feet of indoor meeting space. In addition, the resort’s 80,000-square-foot outdoor event space includes a garden, gazebos, lawns and ocean view terraces and can accommodate up to 3,500 guests.

Nevada
Red Rock Resort unveiled its renovated spa and wellness facility. Managed by Trilogy Spa Holdings, a boutique operator of high-end spas in luxury hotels and resorts, The Spa at Red Rock by Well & Being features fully customized wellness experiences, including an updated menu of fitness classes, nutrition, integrative medicine, mind-body therapies and advanced skincare. The spa also incorporate a demonstration kitchen for personalized nutrition and health consultations. The 800-room property offers nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space, including five ballrooms and 15 breakout rooms. The 20,100-square-foot Red Rock Ballroom can accommodate up to 2,800 attendees.

Oregon
Salishan Spa & Golf Resort completed a $7 million renovation of all of its guest rooms, restaurant, meeting rooms and resort amenities. Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the property updated the private balconies in all guest rooms, which were also redesigned with new linens, drapes, carpets and furniture. The lobby and resort’s four restaurants were remodeled along with menu makeovers. The property’s nearly 15,000 square feet of meeting space, which can accommodate up to 275 people, has new drapes, furniture and custom-designed carpets. The 250-acre resort, located on the state’s central coast, also features a links-style 18-hole golf course, spa and indoor tennis.

Washington
The Thompson Seattle debuted as the brand’s first property in the Pacific Northwest. The 158-room hotel, located adjacent to Pike Place Market, features Mid-century modern design. The Nest, the property’s rooftop bar and lounge with views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains, and Scout, the hotel’s restaurant, serve locally sourced items day and night. The hotel offers 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space for up to 150 guests. In addition to the four traditional meeting spaces, there are executive studios and The Nest can also accommodate private events for up to 250 people.
