Flavors of Reno

There is no shortage of stylish options for groups breaking bread together in Reno. Whether classic or contemporary, chic resort restaurant or venerable local tradition, Reno has a group-friendly eatery for every taste.

Several of Reno’s resort restaurants offer private dining space. At Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, the AAA Four Diamond-rated Atlantis Steakhouse serves up wet-aged prime steaks sourced from the vaunted Allen Brothers. Groups as large as 18 can dine privately in the Cove. The room provides a memorable and luxurious dining experience with its lavish leather seating and walls that change color. Audiovisual facilities are available. The resort’s Bistro Napa restaurant focuses on fresh California cuisine with organic ingredients and dazzling wine pairings. Groups of 12 may reserve the wine cellar, lined with 4,000 bottles of the best.

Since 1967, Louis’ Basque Corner has been serving up hearty Basque cuisine in the traditional family-oriented, multicourse style. Try beloved Basque dishes like oxtails, tripe or sweetbreads, or stick to lamb and steak. Tipple a picon punch, the unofficial Basque cocktail, before or after your meal for a true taste of history. Louis’ upstairs event space was renovated in 2013. The brick-walled space features a full bar and a lounge with pool tables. The space can accommodate 36 for private, Basque-style dining, or as many as 125 for buffets or receptions.

Wild River Grille is consistently voted one or Reno’s favorite restaurants. Located on the RiverWalk, the handsome brick building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Wild River Grille serves up creative American cuisine and finely crafted cocktails. Maximum group size is 150, and the restaurant offers a riverfront patio, a private dining room that seats 70, and the 20-person City Room.
