The Cooking School of Aspen opened in March in downtown Aspen. The new facility offers celebrity guest chef demonstrations, teambuilding events, private parties and more.
W Aspen and The Sky Residences at W Aspen is slated to open for the 2018 winter ski season. The new property will offer 88 guest rooms and a 12,000-square-foot rooftop bar and pool.
Local restaurant and farm shop, Meat & Cheese, recently opened a new downstairs cocktail lounge called Hooch.
Snowmass
TURKS Snowmass, a live music venue, opened in December.
The new 25-mileSnowmass Loop mountain biking trail debuted June 2016. The loop, which has more than 10 different trails and can be divided into three or four different routes, features terrain ranging from high desert to Aspen groves.
