ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla.
One Ocean Resort & Spa announced the promotion of Stephen Wittman II as director of food and beverage.
In his new role Wittman will be responsible for the vision, direction and development of One Ocean's award-winning restaurant, Azurea restaurant, Azurea Lounge, the lobby bar and in-room dining. He will also oversee the banquet servers and manage over $6.5 million dollars in annual banquet and outlet revenue for the resort's meeting and event space.

During his 13 years of experience within the hospitality food and beverage industry, Wittman has climbed the ranks of leadership roles. In his most recent position at One Ocean Resort, Wittman served as director of outlets where he significantly increased revenue and put together a team that is committed to delivering the best possible guest experience. Previously, Wittman was as the director of outlets at Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville, Fla., where he achieved the highest guest satisfaction score in the history of Juliette’s Bistro and surpassed the resort’s financial F&B goals. Prior, Wittman was the banquet manager at Omni Jacksonville Hotel and event operations manager among other positions at Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham, Ala. He began his hospitality career as event services supervisor at Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla.
The 193-room resort features over 10,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor conference facilities including a 3,800-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 attendees.
