At Omni Amelia Island Plantation’s recent Sprouting Project includes a garden, greenhouse and barrel room for private dinners. Groups can tour Omni Amelia Island Plantation’s state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse, expansive organic garden and large collection of beehives before enjoying a plated dinner that incorporates items harvested directly from The Sprouting Project.

On Ponte Vedra Beach, the 511-guest room Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa refurbishment was completed in September. Also new at the Sawgrass Marriott, a wing of butler serviced rooms and suites providing an upper class guest experience.

DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront, formerly the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront, recently completed a full guest room renovation and a total overhaul of its lobby, multiple restaurants and lounges and 12,000 square feet of meeting space.

Lexington Hotel & Conference Center Jacksonville – Riverfront (formerly the Wyndham) is in the midst of major renovations that will transform the property including updating its meeting rooms and a remodeled pool area. The renovations will be completed by the end of 2016.

The Sheraton Jacksonville will be undergoing a $7 million renovation of the entire property to be completed in late 2016.

The Omni Jacksonville Hotel completed room renovations last year—including new decor, beds and upgraded meeting space as part of a $9 million overhaul. This past fall a new Club Concierge Service was opened serving breakfast, midday snacks and evening cocktails.

The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront had an $8 million renovation that was completed in September 2015. They added meeting space, a new rooftop fitness center, an updated rooftop pool, a redesigned Regency Club Lounge and a complete overhaul of the property’s 951 guest rooms.

In April, The Spa at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club freshened up its lobby and gathering room. The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach completed a renovation of its main dining outlet, and has a new executive chef.

The restaurant at Casa Monica Resort & Spa, formerly Casa Monica Hotel, recently hired a new chef, Fred Mero, who is overseeing all F&B operations at the property. It will focuses on family style and tapas.

Upgrades to the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort include recent refurbishments to the 26,000 square-foot ballroom in the convention center, as well as the addition of a new chef for the hotel’s restaurant, which will change its cuisine from Italian to Mediterranean.

The oceanfront Hammock Beach Resort – a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort, located in Palm Coast, will receive several upgrades: the lobby will be completely refurbished, 75 spacious one-bedroom suites will receive an interior makeover, and the property’s expansive meeting and function spaces has already been entirely refreshed.
