KOHALA COAST
Hilton Waikoloa Village completed a renovation in its Palace Tower that included the debut of the Hale Ike “House of Senses,” which features 369 renovated rooms and 26 suites that were upgraded with natural inspirations in mind. The property offers 235,000 square feet of convention center space.
Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel recently completed a soft-goods renovation of all of its meeting rooms. The refresh of the hotel’s more than 85,000 square feet of interior meeting spaces, included the 8,400 square-foot Hapuna Ballroom.
Mauna Kea Beach Hotel recently unveiled Hawaii Island’s newest venue, the Kaunaoa Ballroom, designed to accommodate private events. The ballroom features nearly 3,500 square feet of indoor event space.
KONA
Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa is converting its presidential suite into a Sheraton Club Lounge called the Kaiulu Club Lounge. The lounge, which opened in early April, is the only Sheraton Club in Hawaii with indoor-outdoor space. Offering more than 3,000 square feet of space, the Kaiulu Club Lounge overlooks the Kona Coast while adding a level of luxury, comfort and convenience to help take in the view.
HILO
The Hilo Naniloa Hotel will reopen as the Grand Naniloa Hotel–a DoubleTree by Hilton in October. The rebranded property will open with more guest rooms, making it the largest hotel on the Island of Hawaii’s east side. Notable amenities will include a new lobby, fitness center and exclusive concert hall. The hotel will also offer cultural activities and daily complimentary golf, alongside refreshed banquet facilities.
