At press time,Ramada Rapid City was undergoing a renovation, including updates to guest rooms and meeting space, scheduled for completion by summer’s end.
The former Adoba Eco Hotel was reflagged The Rushmore Hotel in March 2016. The hotel has completed a renovation of all 177 guest rooms with environment-friendly furnishings and bedding, including eucalyptus fiber sheets. Meeting space was also remodeled and accommodates up to 300 people.
The 143-room Hotel Alex Johnson Hotel recently underwent renovations and became a Hilton Curio property.
The Holiday Inn Rapid City–Rushmore Plaza, located adjacent to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, recently completed full updates to all meeting space, 205 guest rooms, lobby, lounge and restrooms.
A new Comfort Inn & Suites is on track to open next year in Rapid City.
