Cambodia
Sokha Siem Reap Resort opened in Siem Reap, jumping off point to Angkor Wat. The resort features 776 guest rooms and offers Khmer Bistro & Bar, which is near the pool and serves woodfired pizza, as well as Lemongrass, a restaurant that offers a Chef Table experience. The meeting space includes the 23,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, eight meeting rooms and prefunction space.

France
Le Meridien Etoile revealed the completion of its multimillion-dollar renovation. The 1,025 guest rooms, public spaces, including Jazz Club Etoile and the brand’s lobby concept, Le Meridien Hub, were revamped. Near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees, the hotel features 26,900 square feet of meeting space across 25 conference rooms that each have the name of a neighboring street. The smaller meeting rooms hold up to 25 people while the larger can accommodate up to 1,200 guests. Each space is designed with the property’s Mid-Century Modern aesthetic and offers modular furniture and custom photography depicting scenes from each namesake boulevard or avenue. The on-site Jazz Club Etoile has been renovated to the same Mid-Century Modern style along with Parisian touches like white tiles, reminiscent of its metro stations.

Ireland
RIU completed the purchase of the Gresham Hotel, located in Dublin on famed O’Connell Street. Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin occupies a nearly 200-year-old building that recently underwent renovations. The 323-room hotel features 20 function rooms and offers easy access to the new Convention Centre of Dublin.

Malaysia
Hard Rock International announced the expansion of its hotel brand throughout Asia-Pacific with the planned Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. The 365-room hotel will be part of the country’s destination resort, Desaru Coast, which includes entertainment venues, restaurants, retail outlets, a waterpark and 45 holes of golf. The property will offer meeting and event space, an outdoor pool with a poolside bar and grill, an all-day dining restaurant and a fast-casual eatery. The brand’s signature amenities like Rock Spa, the Rock Star Suites and the Rock Royalty Lounge will also be a part of this new resort.

Montenegro
The Hilton Podgorica Crna Gora debuted in the city center with 180 guest rooms. The hotel features a variety of food and beverage options on-property, including Sky Bar, an indoor/outdoor space with views of the city; Crna Gora, which offers a la carte and buffet-style international and local cuisine; Terrace Fontana; and The Bar and Cigar Club. There is 7,800 square feet of meeting space, including the 4,500-square-foot Crystal Ballroom that can accommodate up to 435 guests theater-style.

United Arab Emirates
The W Dubai Al Habtoor City debuted as the brand’s first hotel in the Emirate. The hotel is set within the Al Habtoor City project, 33 stories above the ground floor and overlooking the newly built Dubai Water Canal. The hotel’s 356 guest rooms include the brand’s Extreme Wow Suite and Sensational Suite. For on-site dining, Namu offers a menu of Japanese and Korean fusion cuisine and Level Seven is a casual dining restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine with a chef’s table and crudo bar. The 7,800-square-foot Great Room can accommodate 500 guests and offers prefunction space. There are also five studio spaces for meetings.
