The $300 million multiphase renovation at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa will culminate in the property growing to 810 rooms and more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel will officially transition to the JW Marriott Marco Island in January 2017.
Following a $40 million renovation, The Hilton Marco Island Resort & Spa is undergoing a redesign, opening this winter with an upgraded lobby and accommodations, a completely re-envisioned restaurant concept and a grab-and-go market.
The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club completed a renovation of its Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course in November. The $9 million renovation of the course follows $50 million in renovations and enhancements to the resort over the last few years.
The luxury 474-room Naples Grande Beach Resort recently underwent several renovations to its golf clubhouse, meeting spaces and outdoor areas. The property also did a refresh and rebrand of the Spa at Naples Grande in May.
The Inn on Fifth in downtown Naples recently began a renovation of the landmark hotel’s rooftop pool deck and courtyard. The $500,000 project is the just the latest in a series of ongoing renovations at the 119-room luxury hotel. Also, award-winning Ocean Prime will be opening on-property in December.
The Hyatt House Naples/5th Avenue opened in March with 183 rooms and suites and four function rooms totaling more than 3,100 square feet of flexible space.
A 225-room Marriott Autograph Collection hotel has a projected opening of February 2017 in downtown Fort Myers.
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs is debuting a $7 million Lazy River & Waterslide Complex this winter. The new complex will serve as an entertainment destination within the resort featuring event space and a recreation area.
