What have you observed to date regarding the formal or informal attendance of corporate or other groups at Life Is Beautiful?
Life Is Beautiful is such an inspirational, dynamic festival that we find many business leaders are using it as an opportunity for staff incentives, teambuilding or personal growth. Last year, Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, based in Las Vegas, gifted every one of his employees a ticket to the festival during their all-hands meeting in the spring. I was in the room when it happened, and it was truly a special moment.

Does the festival provide any specific space, venues or programs for such groups?
Life Is Beautiful offers a number of group hospitality options, ranging from cabanas or suites to VIP tables and group packages. If there is something specific that we don’t currently have available, then we are always open to working with groups to see what type of experience we may be able to create for them.

For what reasons would you welcome corporate groups, and how do they best fit into the festival?
It’s an opportunity to escape the traditional corporate outing. Life Is Beautiful really offers something for everyone—from a range of music to world-class food and cocktails to the inspirational IDEAS Series and an art program featuring the best-known street artists in the world. There is a sense of discovery created by, and within, our footprint that has a positive impact on individual and company culture.

What should corporate execs/groups know about Life Is Beautiful before making plans to attend?
Make your plans early in the cycle. Reach out to us now to reserve your spot or act quickly when tickets go on sale again in the spring. There is a high demand on what is relatively few options for large groups. We are always looking to create amazing experiences for our guests and groups; the more time we have to plan, the better.

At a time when conventional notions of how, where and when we “meet” are being reinvented and transformed by various forces, including major happenings such as Life Is Beautiful and the rise of Millennial decision-makers in the workforce, any thoughts on what this and other festivals may offer corporate groups that is different than more “traditional” meeting and gathering environments?
This festival is exactly how people, not just Millennials, learn, network, explore and create. We have countless stories from people that met the love of their life, had a brilliant business idea or were inspired to seek personal growth that in some way changed their life. The stories and experiences last forever—create an unbreakable bond of sorts.
