Maryland
The MGM National Harbor is scheduled to open in early December with 308 guest rooms and 50,000 square feet of meeting space. The property, which sits on the banks of the Potomac River, will feature a 125,000-square-foot casino floor and will offer food and beverage outlets from acclaimed chefs, including Jose Andres, Marcus Samuelsson and brothers Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. The resort has also partnered with Live Nation for entertainment programming at the 3,000-seat Theater at MGM National Harbor. On-site meeting space will include a 16,000-square-foot ballroom and a 6,000-square-foot terrace.

Massachusetts
The 118-suite Residence Inn Boston Concord opened in Concord Meadows Office Park, two miles from historic downtown. The all-suite hotel offers studio and one-bedroom options that include fully equipped kitchens and separate work and sleep spaces. There is grocery delivery service, MIX (the brand’s weeknight evening gatherings), a full-service bar and lounge, a business library and an indoor pool. The property also offers nearly 1,000 square feet of meeting space and an outdoor patio area.

New York
Courtyard by Marriott Schenectady at Mohawk Harbor opened with 124 guest rooms, all featuring the brand’s new room design. The property is near the General Electric campus and offers guests convenient access to Rivers Casino & Resort, Proctors Theatre, Union College and The Mohawk Harbor. The hotel features the brand’s Refreshing Business lobby with media pods, seating areas and The Bistro for food and drink. The four-story property is situated on the Mohawk River and has an indoor pool, an outdoor fire pit, a fitness center and guest laundry as well as 1,157 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate up to 100 people.

The 612-room DoubleTree New York Times Square West is expected to open in December. The 37-story hotel is located on the southwest corner of Times Square and guest rooms will offer views of Times Square, the Hudson River and the Empire State Building. There will be a lobby-level restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a glass-enclosed rooftop bar that can be used year-round. The Times Square Room offers 1,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Lexington New York City, an Autograph Collection hotel located in midtown Manhattan, unveiled the final phase of its three-year renovation. The 5,000-square-foot S. Dynasty restaurant was converted into a meetings and events center that includes two meeting rooms-The Speakeasy and The Interlude-connected by a foyer area called the Swing Room. Adjacent to the Swing Room is a small space for breakout meetings. The two main meeting rooms have an open floor plan, a wall of windows looking out onto Lexington Avenue and can accommodate up to 120 people. A new tech system includes retractable projectors and screens, ceiling speakers that provide audio conferencing capabilities and can connect to wireless or lavaliere microphones and wall-mounted touch panels for control over the audiovisual system, lighting and window shades. The 725 guest rooms and public spaces were renovated in 2013.

The Redbury New York debuted in Manhattan’s NoMad district and is the third property from the brand. The hotel features 265 guest rooms, 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and on-site restaurant, Marta. The hotel originally opened in 1903 as the Martha Washington Hotel and was the first hotel in New York to provide housing for professional women. In 2012, the building was designated a landmark for its architectural and historical significance. The meeting space includes private dining space, a ballroom that can be divided into two separate rooms and an outdoor terrace.
