Continuing its transition of the Rockville Pike Corridor, planned urban neighborhood Pike & Rose has entered Phase 2 of development, which will add more than 30 new retail venues along with restaurants, apartments and Hilton’s new Canopy brand hotel.
Opening in 2017 within the Pike & Rose development, Pinstripes is opening a new two-story, 37,000-square-foot location with 14 bowling lanes, 10 indoor and outdoor bocce ball courts and patio dining, as well as a bistro and curated wine cellar. The venue’s planned event space will be able to accommodate groups between 20 and 60 people.
Hilton’s new “accessible lifestyle” brand, Canopy, will open the doors on its Pike & Rose location in 2018. The 177-room facility will offer 4,350 square feet of meeting space, a 3,100-square-foot ballroom and walkable access to the Metro’s Red Line.
The Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center recently completed renovations to its 20,000 square feet of soundproofed meeting space.
The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is currently wrapping up a multimillion-dollar renovation, complete with room, lobby, fitness center and event space updates. The venue provides over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including 19 meeting rooms and two executive ballrooms.
Residence Inn by Marriott Bethesda Downtown recently completed a $20 million renovation to its facility, including guest rooms, common areas and meeting spaces. The venue offers a total of 4,099 square feet of event space over seven rooms, the largest of which is 250 square feet.
Simon Property Group’s Clarksburg Premium Outlets recently opened its two-story retail outlet center in Clarksburg. The center features luxury outlet retailers such as Armani Outlet, Kate Spade New York, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and inviting community space for down time between meetings.
