China
The Meixi Lake Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha debuted in China’s Hunan region. The 52-story property is adjacent to The Mall of Splendors, the city’s new retail destination that overlooks the Meixi Lake International Culture & Arts Center. There are 310 guest rooms, including a 3,000-square-foot Presidential Suite. The hotel features 33,000 square feet of event space on the third level overlooking Meixi Lake. The seven meeting spaces include the 11,400-square-foot ballroom. There are a variety of dining options, a tea lounge, a farm-to-table restaurant serving Hunan and Cantonese specialties and a steakhouse.

Egypt
The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes opened with 135 guest rooms and a 27-hole championship golf course. The resort offers 10,900 square feet of meeting and event space featuring a boardroom and an 8,500-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate 700 guests. There are three on-site dining options, including a pool bar, golf club bar and an all-day-dining Mediterranean restaurant. The resort offers the brand’s RunWESTIN program with three- and five-mile jogging routes near the property.

New Zealand
Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park Auckland opened with 40 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. The property is located across from Victoria Park and Victoria Market and in close proximity to the SkyCity Casino, the Auckland Convention Centre and Viaduct Harbour. Each suite apartment features fully equipped kitchens with energy and water-efficient appliances. The nearby SkyCity Auckland Convention Centre offers nearly 54,000 square feet of space, including 21 meeting rooms, capacity for up to 1,750 people, business center facilities, kitchens and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Singapore
Tribute Portfolio, part of Marriott International, debuted its first hotel in Singapore with the addition of hôtel vagabond, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The 41-room hotel is located just outside the central business district in the Jalan Besar area and is housed in a colonial-era Art Deco building. The Vagabond Salon, a lounge serving cocktails and bites alongside live performances and film showings, transforms into an on-site live music venue three times a week. This 5,000-square-foot space can be used for private meetings and events of up to 350 people. The hotel features a large collection of art ranging from antique works to contemporary mixed-media pieces that represent movements across cultures and centuries.

Uzbekistan
The Hyatt Regency Tashkent opened as the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Uzbekistan. The property is situated near local landmarks and attractions such as the National Library, Chorsu Bazaar, Amir Temur Museum and Mustaqillik Square, as well as in close proximity to nearby government and corporate offices. The hotel offers 300 guest rooms and 12,900 square feet of meeting space, including a 6,400-square-foot ballroom. There are multiple on-site dining options, including a pizza bistro and bar, an all-day-dining restaurant with local specialties and a coffee lounge. There is a bar that features live music and an outdoor terrace on the seventh floor.
