Leigh Harris-Henderson

One Ocean Resort & Spa announced the promotion of Leigh Harris-Henderson to group sales manager. Previously serving as catering sales manager for the resort, Harris-Henderson will be responsible for handling the corporate group market. In her new position, she will maximize revenue through prospective group sales opportunities, handling all association, organization and high-tech group room business.

I look forward to watching her flourish in this new position, as she has in all of her previous positions.“

A graduate from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Harris-Henderson joined One Ocean Resort & Spa in 2010. Since her start six years ago, she has been promoted to multiple positions throughout One Ocean, starting her career at the resort as a Reservation and Guest Service Agent, then quickly moving up to the Catering Administrative Assistant, where she assisted the managers with contracts, proposals, letters, and provided necessary information to other departments. Harris-Henderson also worked as the Conference Services Manager where she was responsible for finalizing group business and implementing business policies and procedures for sales, catering and operations department. Most recently, Harris-Henderson worked as the Catering Sales Manager where she was responsible for selling, detailing and servicing corporate events on a luxury level.

The 193-room resort features more than 10,500 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms and multiple meeting rooms.
