Ashley Woodlief & Kayla Crutcher

ROANOKE, Va.

Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge, formerly the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, announced the hiring of two new staff to the sales and services department. Ashley Woodlief, Senior National Sales Manager and Kayla Crutcher, Sales & Services/CRM Manager, both joined the Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge (Visit VBR) team in November and are responsible for booking city wide, association and corporate business for Virginia’s Blue Ridge and its industry partners.

Woodlief joins Visit VBR from Raleigh, N.C., where she worked in the hospitality industry for over seven years. Woodlief will work from a satellite office in Raleigh focusing on sales opportunities along the Mid-Atlantic region and I-95 corridor, a new position for the organization.

Crutcher comes to Visit VBR from Destination DC where she held a meeting services manager position servicing groups in all markets between 10-1,349 room nights on peak.

The Roanoke Valley in Virginia's Blue Ridge is the largest metropolitan area in the Blue Ridge Mountains and features over 683,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and can handle groups of up to 11,000 attendees for meetings, conventions, conferences, trade shows, and every other kind of gathering.
