As a platform to keep planners in the know and educated in the world of technology, PCMA unveiled its new Digital Experience Institute (DEI), formerly known as the Virtual Edge Institute.
Through its resources and research, the DEI can help with event preparation from strategic planning and engagement tactics to audience targeting and the details of production planning.
“The revealing of the DEI is the latest step in the PCMA’s commitment to providing the best digital educational tools and resources for the industry,” said PCMA President & CEO Deborah Sexton. “Like the VEI before it, the Institute will represent our ability to harness future success for everyone involved.”
With its live online Digital Event Strategist (DES) education course and certification, DEI is designed to help make the most of digital experiences and offer resources for planners, event producers and suppliers, such as the solution directory, surveys and online resources.
The DES course is available as a live online course, with an on-demand option, for interaction with colleagues and experts, or as a self-paced course. Both are led by experts from around the world and cover topics including Introduction to Digital Events, Strategy, User Experience, Revenue Modules and Post Event and Measurement.
