Lincolnshire Marriott Resort revealed the details of a property-wide renovation that will include introducing two new restaurants, adding a full-service Starbucks Cafe, a new spa and renovating all of its 383 guest rooms. The renovation will be completed in concurrent stages with the grand-reopening slated for the second half of 2017. The property offers 40,000 square feet of meeting space, including 25 meeting rooms. The Deer Path Inn reopened following a year-long renovation project. Housed in a historic English manor in Lake Forest, along Chicago’s North Shore, the hotel expanded the public spaces in the lobby, allowing for more seating areas, and an elevator was added to provide easier access to the dining outlets on the lower level. The English Room, the hotel’s more-formal restaurant, as well as the casual restaurants, The Bar and White Hart Pub, have all been completely remodeled. A glass conservatory was added to The English Room’s veranda to create an indoor/outdoor space. The Garden Courtyard was also redesigned and can now seat 88 guests for events. The 57-room hotel offers 4,500 square feet of meeting and event space and can be configured to accommodate up to 300 attendees.
