Residence Inn Cedar Rapids South opened in August 2016 with 95 suites and a small meeting room.
The 83-room Holiday Inn Express Collins Road in May 2016 completed a renovation that included an updated lobby and new private business area.
In March 2016, the 103-room Hampton Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids North revealed refreshed rooms and a modernized lobby.
Dubuque
The 193-room Holiday Inn Dubuque/Galena recently renovated guest rooms and public spaces, including meeting rooms.
The 116-room Hilton Garden Inn Dubuque Downtown, connected to the Dubuque Mystique Casino, recently completed lobby upgrades, and hotel room updates are scheduled.
Iowa City/Coralville Area
Hilton Garden Inn is expected to open this summer with 143 guest rooms and 3,000 square feet of banquet space.
SpringHill Suites is on track to open in May with 102 guest rooms and a small meeting room.
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is scheduled to open this spring with 100 guest accommodations and a meeting/boardroom, among other amenities.
Quad Cities
The 106-room Rhythm City Casino Resort, which has meeting/event space for over 600 people, in June 2016 moved from downtown Davenport to a brand-new facility at the corner of interstates 80 and 74.
The Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, which has over 500 guest rooms and more than 40,000 square feet of convention space, last year completed a new land-based casino, plus a hotel renovation in the South Tower.
Waterloo
A Courtyard by Marriott is in the works and will feature 160-plus guest rooms as well as meeting and event space, with a scheduled completion date of July.
