Cleveland

Hilton Cleveland Downtown debuted in 2016 with 600 guest rooms, 50,000 square feet of meeting space, views of Lake Erie and four food and beverage outlets. The hotel is connected to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

The Kimpton Schofield Hotel opened in spring 2016 after a $50 million restoration. The hotel has 122 rooms and 3,800 square feet of banquet space.

Residence Inn Cleveland Downtown completed a $12 million renovation of its 175 guest rooms and 3,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland is undergoing a renovation, including updates to its 206 guest rooms, a reconfiguration of its lobby and the creation of a larger, redesigned fitness area. The completion date is set for mid-2017.

Akron

Embassy Suites by Hilton Akron Canton Airport debuted in early 2016 with 150 guest suites and 6,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom, conference room and a boardroom.

Lake Erie Shores & Islands

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is undergoing upgrades to its Sandusky outdoor waterpark by adding five new slide attractions.

Breakers Express hotel will undergo an extensive transformation into Cedar Point’s Express Hotel. The existing rooms will undergo a renovation and there will be 69 new accommodations added to the property. There will also be a new splash pad and outdoor courtyard added near the outdoor swimming pool, in addition to its other amenities.

Toledo

Marriott unveiled the Courtyard by Marriott Toledo-North in late 2016. The 97-room hotel features the brand’s latest room design, an indoor pool and 600 square feet of meeting space.

Bowling Green

The 84-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Bowling Green opened in January. Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, fitness room, 24/7 Corner Market and small meeting room, among others.
