Denver

Hotel Teatro, which offers more than 5,500 square feet of meeting space, in February 2016 launched new experiential meeting programming in The Study, the hotel’s lounge/bar/community space. In-house groups can partake in private, creative teambonding workshops such as calligraphy classes and styling charcuterie boards.

The Maven, a 172-room boutique hotel, will feature a 2,300-square-foot ballroom when it opens this spring.

Kimpton Hotel Union Station is opening this year with 199 guest rooms and 8,300 square feet of meeting space.

A dual-branded, 18-story hotel tower in downtown Denver will feature a 233-room AC Hotels by Marriott and a 272-room Le Meridien Hotel. It’s expected to open this August.

The 170-room Marriott Moxy Cherry Creek North is expected to open in mid-2017.

Halcyon–a Hotel in Cherry Creek opened in August 2016 with 155 guest rooms and approximately 3,500 square feet of event space.

Boulder

The Dairy Arts Center completed renovations in January, including a new lobby that accommodates receptions.

Two hotels, the 204-room Boulder Embassy Suites and the 172-room Boulder Hilton Garden Inn (www.hilton.com), are slated to open in September one block away from the Dairy Arts Center. The Embassy Suites will have a 7,000-square-foot ballroom.

Galvanize Boulder, a tech-training facility, opened in December 2016 with nine meeting rooms, including several classrooms as well as a boardroom.

Aurora

Hyatt Regency Aurora–Denver Conference Center opened in March 2016 with 249 guest accommodations and more than 36,000 square feet of event space, including 8,100 square feet of IACC-approved meeting space, an 11,800-square-foot ballroom and outdoor terrace space totaling 4,000 square feet.

Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center is scheduled to open minutes from Denver International Airport in late 2018. The property will feature 1,500 guest rooms and more than 485,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.
