The AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown debuted in the Hennepin Theatre District. The 245-room hotel offers the AC Kitchen and Lounge serving European-style breakfast as well as tapas and drinks in the evenings. There are 1,500 square feet of meeting space across four meeting rooms.
The Embassy Suites Minneapolis Downtown debuted with 290 suites and 15,000 square feet of function space. There are three ballrooms, multiple meeting rooms, a boardroom and prefunction space. The property is one block from the city’s Metro train stations and near Nicollet Mall.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton St. Paul Downtown/Xcel Energy Center opened its doors at the end of 2016. The property is located adjacent to the Xcel Energy Center and offers 3,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom that can accommodate 150 guests. Many of the 160 guest rooms feature views of the Mississippi River and the city’s iconic National Shrine, the Cathedral of St. Paul.
Hyatt Place St. Paul/Downtown opened last fall in the city’s restored Custom House. The hotel features 149 guest rooms and 2,900 square feet of meeting space. Other amenities include the brand’s StayFit Gym, complimentary breakfast daily and a 24/7 Gallery Kitchen menu.
The Radisson RED Minneapolis opened last fall. The hotel is the first U.S. location for the brand and is located in the East Town neighborhood near the new U.S. Bank Stadium. There are 164 guest studios and a 1,000-square-foot event space that also functions as a game studio. The OUIBar + KTCHN serves local and seasonal Minneapolis food and drink.
