The Newport Marriott’s 7,686-square-foot Grand Ballroom is sporting a new design. This landmark hotel’s event space has been fully renovated, and now showcases a contemporary coastal color palette and fresh decorative elements that evoke the sea.
This marks the final phase of a full-hotel reinvention that began in 2015. From the front of the house to the employee cafeteria, renovations include all 312 guest rooms and suites, meeting space, Greatroom lobby, restaurant and bars, and a state-of-the-art fitness club.
The property offers 24,117 square feet of updated space, including 16 meeting rooms. The Grand Ballroom seats 500 and can be divided into four spaces, and can accommodate 840 guests overall.
The hotel’s 8,829-square-foot Atrium is a spectacular location for cocktail receptions, wedding ceremonies and dinners of up to 400 guests. Also available are several smaller meeting rooms, some with water views and natural light, as well as a seasonal, outdoor terrace.
Located in the heart of historic downtown Newport, at 25 America’s Cup Avenue, the earned the coveted internal accolade, “Hotel of the Year,” for all Marriott Hotels in the Americas in April.
