Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury opened last November with 114 guest rooms and event space, including a ballroom with approximately 2,600 square feet. The facility is the third location in the new, upscale lodging group, after Stamford and Norwalk.

The Mohegan Sun opened a 400-room Earth Tower hotel last November at its Uncasville location. The deluxe rooms provide a minimum of 364 square feet, marble bathrooms, king or queen beds, and amazing views of the New England hills. The new suites are also spacious and well-appointed, able to accommodate up to 10 people per suite.

The Goodwin Hotel is currently undergoing renovations and will open later this year under the Hotel Zero Degrees flag. The Hartford landmark will become a 124-room boutique hotel with more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 100-seat ballroom. Connected to the Goodwin Hotel is the Atrium in the Goodwin Square office tower, which is currently undergoing renovations and is slated to open by this spring. The space features marble floors and towering ceilings, and will be available for off-site events.

The new Candlewood Suites Hartford Downtown will open this March with 81 suites.

In downtown Hartford, the Connecticut Convention Center recently wrapped a $2.5 million refresh of the facility, including new carpeting, new furniture in public spaces and a new box office in the lobby.

The new Delamar West Hartford will open early this year with 102 guest rooms and 12 long-term apartments. The luxury facility will also offer a full-service spa and fine dining, and is the third lodging in the luxury Delamar group.

The former Premier Hotel & Suites finished major renovations last year and reopened under a new flag. Now the New Haven Village Suites, the property offers 112 suites, which includes both studio and two-bedroom suites.

In downtown Hartford, the Homewood Suites Hartford Downtown recently finished $3 million in renovations to all public spaces and the facility’s 116 guest rooms. The property also offers three meeting rooms.

The 409-room Marriott Hartford Downtown recently finished renovating all guest rooms, plus the lobby, bar, exercise room, and banquet and meeting space. The property is connected to the Connecticut Convention Center.

In Southbury, the 163-room Heritage Hotel and Conference Center finished major renovations and reconfigured the lobby space. The facility offers 28,000 square feet of meeting space, including 21 meeting rooms, two ballrooms, an executive boardroom and a state-of-the-art amphitheater.

The former Crowne Plaza Southbury was recently reflagged as the state’s first Wyndham property. The Wyndham Southbury offers 197 guest rooms and 14,000 square feet of event space.

The 393-room Hilton Hartford recently finished upgrades to the lounge, lobby and banquet space. Also installed were new electronic guest locks for all guest rooms.

Foxwoods Resort Casino recently added Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen + Bar to the property’s dining options last November. Fieri is a chef, author and host of the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. American-style restaurant is located on the casino level of the Grand Pequot Tower and features Fieri’s famous Trash Can Nachos, BBQ Bahn Mi, Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger, and Lobster Agra Diavolo.

The newly constructed Dunkin’ Donuts Park stadium will open in downtown Hartford this spring. The 6,146-seat stadium will host festivals, concerts, corporate gatherings and more, and will also be the home for the home town Minor League Baseball team, the Hartford Yard Goats.
