Hotel Nikko San Francisco completed a $60 million renovation. The new design, which takes inspiration from the brand’s Japanese heritage, encompasses 405 of its 533 guest rooms, structural upgrades to the lobby, public areas, third-floor ballroom and meeting spaces as well as large-scale improvements to the hotel’s overall infrastructure and technology. Last year, the hotel’s revamped indoor pool with glass atrium and adjoining outdoor terrace reopened to include an outdoor grass dog run on its fifth floor. The updated 6,652-square-foot ballroom includes tall metal-cut wall screens with modern Japanese design features and the prefunction space offers natural light and contemporary art-inspired fixtures and furnishings. There are also 20 meeting rooms on the 25th floor overlooking the city with views of the San Francisco Bay. Additional amenities include a health club and fitness center with indoor pools, a 140-seat live music venue, ANZU restaurant and a bar.

Hotel Palomar Los Angeles Beverly Hills unveiled its $12 million property-wide renovation, which reflects Los Angeles and the city’s film industry. Connected to the lounge is a game room with a dartboard, shuffleboard table, pool table, Skee Ball, video games and televisions.
