High-Energy Tips for a Productive Day

If your goal is to be productive and mitigate stress in the day, you have to decide from the start to participate in a positive way. You are your own best advocate.

Choose to be well and support the body in all you do! Here are three quick tips that will keep you moving through your day in a high-energy, productive way.

  1. Drink warm lemon water every morning. This ritual delivers a caffeine-free boost of energy. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into 8 to 12 ounces of warm water and enjoy. You’ll support every process in the body with hydration, boost your vitamin C intake and support digestion and regularity.
  2. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Choose foods that balance your blood sugar, elevate your mood and keep you satiated all morning long. Great choices include foods that are rich in fiber, provide healthy fat and deliver lean protein. Incorporate whole grains, leafy greens, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, beans, salmon, avocado and whole eggs.
  3. Get moving! Exercise boosts your energy, supports the health of your cells and enhances your mood. Walk, plank or dance the morning away. Just be sure to get movement in each day.
