Chicago Marriott Southwest Unveils Redesign

BURR RIDGE, Ill.

Following an extensive renovation, Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge unveiled a transformed guest experience featuring redesigned accommodations as a part of the ongoing reinvention of Marriott Hotels, the signature brand of Marriott International.

Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge is one of many hotels within the brand’s North American portfolio to introduce this sleek, modern design. The unexpected look provides an elevated experience that today’s travelers want and need.

The property’s 185 reimagined rooms include 42 King Suites, a Presidential Suite and a Hospitality Suite. The interior accents are inspired by the chic, urban ambiance of vibrant downtown Chicago. Additionally, work surfaces provide flexibility to freely move and use technology wherever guests desire; bathtubs in many king rooms have been replaced with deluxe walk-in showers and spa-like lighting to provide a relaxed, upgraded experience.

Other new amenities include a distinct, contemporary ballroom and a Starbucks Coffee Counter.

“We want our guests to experience forward-thinking, aesthetically-pleasing spaces that help foster their inventive nature,” said Matthew Carroll, vice president, Marriott Hotels. “Marriott Hotels has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation in travel to create experiences that inspire and push our guests’ creativity. Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge has accomplished this and more and we know their guests will be thrilled.”

Conveniently located near Midway and O’Hare International airports, the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge provides hassle-free access to many of the Chicagoland destination’s most popular attractions, from upscale shopping at Burr Ridge Village Center to golf at nearby award-winning Cog Hill Golf Club. Many Chicago landmarks are an easy drive from the property, including Chicagoland Speedway, Brookfield Zoo, Navy Pier, McCormick Place, Magnificent Mile and Millennium Park, among others.

On-site Ciazza serves a variety of classic breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees and handcrafted cocktails in a unique lakefront atmosphere.

The hotel features the brand’s Greatroom lobby – a hub of the hotel that serves as a great social gathering place both day and night. Its contemporary décor and layout provide a space to relax, collaborate with colleagues or grab a nightcap. Guests can enjoy a variety of great food and drink options as well as seamless connectivity thanks to free Wi-Fi and essential technology.

The property offers the Next Gen Meeting Space, tailored specifically to foster collaboration. All meeting spaces include a flexible layout that adapts to a variety of formats and group sizes with pivotable walls, soft seating and modular furniture to ensure every team’s meeting space is perfectly suited to their needs.
