Doubletree Syracuse Debuts Renovation

SYRACUSE, N.Y.

DoubleTree by Hilton Syracuse, a 250-room hotel in Carrier Circle, unveiled its transformed guest experience with the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation.

As the only full-service hotel in Carrier Circle, the property’s renovations include refreshed guest rooms, public areas and event spaces that evoke a contemporary feel reflective of the local community and maintain the DoubleTree by Hilton brand appeal, traditions and values.

The addition of a grand fireplace surrounded by casual seating serves as the focal point of the newly-reimagined lobby and emphasizes the hotel’s commitment to providing guests with an elevated sense of arrival and welcoming check-in experience. Included as part of the lobby transformation is the addition of a new restaurant concept, Seasons Tavern, and the relocation of the hotel bar. These energizing spaces serve as social gathering places where guests can connect with each other before an exciting day of exploration or unwind after a busy day of business meetings.

“We pride ourselves in delivering a unique experience to local visitors and travelers alike,” said Thomas Olsen, general manager of the property. “Purposeful in approach and innovative in design, the upgrades at our hotel have allowed us to introduce guests to an elevated level of service and a suite of new amenities that we believe will make for a welcoming experience and a memorable stay—including the presentation of our signature, warm DoubleTree Cookie upon arrival.”

Business and entertainment accommodations have also been transformed and expanded to include more than 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The renovations also included a 3,000-square-foot expansion to the hotel’s front ballroom, taking it from 1,500 square feet to 4,500 square feet to accommodate larger events and meetings. Other enhancements to the hotel include building out a spacious and modern 1,500-square-foot patio, an outdoor space with weather-resistant furniture located off of the original ballroom, perfect for your next reception or event.

“The DoubleTree by Hilton Syracuse is a unique destination hotel, and we saw an opportunity to reposition the property to be more relevant to a new generation of business and leisure travelers,” said Nagib Lakhani, principal at RevMax Hospitality Consulting, the owners of the property. “We want our guests to experience top-of-the-line service, amenities and aesthetically pleasing spaces that allow them to socialize, meet and interact in a relaxed environment.”

Hotel guests have access to a range of premium services and amenities, including free parking and a complimentary shuttle service that travels within a 10-mile radius of the hotel. DoubleTree by Hilton Syracuse is conveniently located right off of the New York freeway and is just minutes away from some of the area’s top attractions, including Destiny USA, downtown Armory Square, the Finger Lakes, the Adirondacks, Rosamond Gifford Zoo, Syracuse University, the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame and more.
