Construction recently began on a new 50,000-square-foot development building along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The complex will feature restaurants, retail and a live music venue connected to a new Hilton property.
The Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes completed renovations in April of its 405-room tower. Upgrades included new furniture and interior design. The hotel offers 35,650 square feet of function space across 11 meeting rooms.
The 30-acre oceanfront Springmaid Beach Resort is now the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. The property debuted last fall, and minor damages from Hurricane Matthew have been repaired. The 452-room resort boasts a renovated three-story conference center with 35,000 square feet of meeting space.
The development of a new Residence Inn Marriott has been approved by the City of Myrtle Beach. The 305,964-square-foot hotel will be 17 stories high and include its own parking structure and pool. A completion date has not yet been set.
