GOLETA, Calif.

Kimpton Goodland announced the appointment of Karlee Ferris as business development manager.

In her new role, Ferris will be responsible for increasing exposure and revenue for the 158-room Santa Barbara hotel through the development of current and potential client relationships, programming management, including live music and specialty promotions, and expansion of social media.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with Karlee at Hotel Palomar for the past couple of years and couldn’t be happier she’s joining the Goodland team,” said Drew Parker, area director of sales and marketing. “Not only is she passionate about everything she takes on, but her creativity and focus on the guest experience perfectly complement the amazing Goodland vibe.”

“During my time at Kimpton Palomar San Diego, I often got the chance to collaborate with Goodland hotel and share ideas on enhancing the guest experience,” said Ferris. “Not only am I thrilled to officially be joining the incredible Goodland team, but I’m looking forward to the opportunity to step into a new role and expand the already successful programming in place, while bringing new opportunities to the property.”
