Hyatt Regency Savannah, which offers 33,000 square feet of meeting space, recently renovated its 351 guest rooms, including adding enhanced WiFi and new modern decor, and also updated its lobby and other public spaces. A new restaurant with river views is on track to open on-site at the hotel early next year.
The Hilton Savannah DeSoto recently changed flags to become The DeSoto by Sotherly. The property underwent a recent revitalization effort, including updates to its 246 guest rooms and ballrooms.
Perry Lane Hotel, which will feature 168 guest rooms, a pool, meeting rooms and a rooftop event space, is expected to open in early 2018.
A 419-room JW Marriott property is scheduled to open in 2019.
Golden Isles
Jekyll Ocean Club, which will feature 40 suites and oceanfront event space, was on track at press time to open last month (July) at Jekyll Island Club Resort.
