Chattanooga

A new 10-story Westin Chattanooga will open this fall in the Gold Building, located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. The property will feature 261 guest rooms, including 40 large suites, more than 15,000 square feet of event space and a skybar. The hotel is part of an $88 million project that includes a high-end restaurant, pedestrian-friendly cobblestone streets and festival space.

A new 88-room Hampton Inn will open this fall as part of the 50-acre Jordan Crossing shopping center. The property will include an outdoor pool, fitness center, business center and more.

The 114-room Hilton Tru Hotel Chattanooga, featuring a four-zone lobby named the Hive and a free breakfast bar, is set to open this fall.

The 102-room Moxy Hotel Chattanooga, a boutique property, is scheduled to open in spring 2018. The hotel is part of Marriott’s new Millennial brand and will feature a bar, communal spaces and enough in-room storage to accommodate a bicycle.

The 90-room Edwin Hotel will open this winter downtown with approximately 1,400 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant and a rooftop bar.

The 242-room, historic Read House Hotel is currently undergoing a $20 million renovation project. Renovations include upgrades to the guest rooms, lobby, ballroom and restaurant. Portions of the hotel will be open throughout the renovations.

Knoxville

The 82-room Tennessean Hotel opened in April. The luxury-focused property features a pool, business center, fitness center, the Drawing Room restaurant and an executive boardroom for meetings.

The 165-room Hyatt Place Knoxville/Downtown is scheduled to debut April 2018 in the city’s entertainment and shopping district. The property will offer nearly 4,000 square feet of meeting space.

The 230-room, dual-branded Residence Inn & Courtyard by Marriott Knoxville is slated to open in August 2018 with a restaurant, bar and fitness center. The property is located near the city’s entertainment district.

Pigeon Forge

A new, one-of-a-kind attraction for the area, Pigeon Forge Snow is currently under construction and is slated to open later this year. The 35,000-square-foot building will offer snow tubing indoors, on real snow, all year long.

Johnson City

Two new projects continue the downtown revitalization project in Johnson City. The King Commons green space will open in late summer and will feature solar walkway lighting, a wall mural and a water feature. Also, the first phase of Tannery Knobs Bike Park will open this fall. The bike park will offer a variety of trails, from beginner’s level to advanced.
