California
The Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel unveiled its new look, with renovated meeting spaces, a redesigned lobby and a new bar and restaurant. Studio 12, the hotel’s new restaurant, offers California cuisine and local craft brews. The 442-room hotel features 18,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including an 850-person-capacity ballroom and 18 event rooms.
Colorado
The Crowne Plaza Denver completed its renovation, including the debut of the Plaza Workspace design pilot and the brand’s WorkLife guest room. The hotel also boasts 16 new guest rooms, a new fitness center, a grab-and-go Marketplace and a new restaurant: The Lockwood Kitchen & Bar. The hotel features more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space across eight rooms.
New Mexico
Peak Hospitality completed a rebrand and remodel of what is now the Wyndham Albuquerque Hotel & Conference Center. The property was formerly known as the Hotel Cascada and upgraded features include a new fitness center, renovation of the entrance to the water park as well as updates to the lobby, its 300 guest rooms and the Altitude Sports Grill. The property offers 30,000 square feet of event space for 3,800 attendees.
Washington
W Bellevue opened in the Pacific Northwest’s tech hub with a design that pays homage to its lakeside setting with cabin-like architecture as well as the area’s innovation culture. The 220-room hotel’s culinary options include The Lakehouse, showcasing a Northwest farmhouse concept, and Civility & Unrest, a speakeasy-inspired cocktail lounge, both from James Beard Award-winning chef Jason Wilson. The property offers 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the Great Room, six Studio Rooms and two Strategy Rooms.
