SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort concluded its three-year property improvement plan. The resort features 40,000 square feet of functional meeting space, which was included in the renovation.
In 2015, the resort upgraded its Standard Rooms by replacing bathtubs with glass-walled showers, adding all-new flooring throughout the vanity and shower area, expanding the closet area/vanity bathroom area with more square footage and adding new accent chairs and vanity lighted mirrors.
In 2016, Scottsdale Plaza Resort conducted upgrades to the Suite Category of rooms, which included new bed frames and matching dressers, all new furniture, artwork and lighting in the living room areas, new in-room charging stations and many of the upgrades that were featured in the standard rooms—like mounted wall televisions, new plumbing fixtures and granite on the wet bars and vanities.
In 2017, the resort upgraded all common areas, including ballrooms, the front desk, lobby, meeting spaces, restrooms and its gift shop. This included all-new furniture, lighting, flooring and wall covering.
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort will unveil its new public spaces at an Open House on Nov. 2, 2017. The Open House will feature guided property tours, cocktails and culinary demonstrations.
