Clarion Events appointed Greg Topalian as CEO of Clarion UX, formally Urban Expositions, and LeftField Media. Clarion UX, with over 100 employees, operates and delivers 40 events in the B2B and B2C markets in the U.S. , including SOFA Chicago, the Philadelphia Gift Show and Coffee Fest.
Topalian founded New York Comic Con and the 2014 boutique event startup LeftField Media. He serves on the Society of Independent Show Organizers Executive Board and frequently speaks at industry events.
LeftField Media’s portfolio includes Anime NYC, Awesome Con, The Classic Auto Show, Crunchyroll Expo, AXPONA and Rose City Comic Con. LeftField Media was acquired by Clarion UX in August 2016.
