IDAHO

In July 2017, Boise Centre completed a multimillion-dollar expansion, adding 36,000 square feet of space, including a new ballroom and eight additional breakout rooms. The facility now features over 80,000 square feet of meeting/event space.  

Coeur d’Alene Resort is undergoing renovations including updates to all of its 338 guest rooms, scheduled for completion in May, and a transformation of the on-site conference center, which at press time was scheduled for completion this past December.

Sun Valley Resort’s Sun Valley Inn is undergoing a guest room renovation set for completion by fall 2018.

OREGON

The 600-room Hyatt Regency Portland, across the street from the Oregon Convention Center, is scheduled to open in 2019 with meeting and banquet rooms.

Aloft Hillsboro-Beaverton opened in June 2017 with 137 guest rooms and 1,755 square feet of meeting space.

The 83,000-square-foot Washington County Event Center is slated to open in January 2019 at the Hillsboro-based Washington County Fair Complex.

WASHINGTON

Located adjacent to CenturyLink Field, Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is on track to open in April with 282 guest rooms and event space for up to 600.

The 1,260-room Hyatt Regency Seattle is scheduled to open this fall with 103,000 square feet of meeting/ballroom space.

Renton-based Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport opened in 2017 with 347 guest rooms and 60,000 square feet of meeting space.

The 245-room W Bellevue, located five miles east of Seattle, opened in summer 2017 with 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

Tukwila-based Hotel Interurban is expected to open this spring with 185 guest rooms and over 15,000 square feet of meeting/event space. Its 5,000-square-foot Rainier Room on the 19th floor will feature views of Mt. Rainier.

A 300-room Marriott currently being built across from the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, is expected to open in spring 2020 with a 10,000-square-foot ballroom and 9,000 square feet of breakout space.

In October 2017, Stevenson-based Skamania Lodge, A Destination Hotel unveiled its second pair of tree houses nestled in the tall Douglas firs of the Columbia River Gorge. The four treehouses are well-suited for business/board retreats.

Everett-based Delta Hotels Seattle/Everett is scheduled to open this spring with 232 guest rooms and more than 14,000 square feet of event space.
