Brick + Mortar, an event venue, opened downtown last year within blocks of INTRUST Bank Arena. The venue retains the century-old structure’s original character of exposed brick and wood beams while offering modern conveniences and flexibility to meet many needs.
Lawrence
Two properties located in northwest Lawrence are scheduled to open this year: an 82-room Tru by Hilton is slated to be open by late summer and a 120-room Best Western Plus is on track to open this fall.
Kansas City
National Training and Coaching Development Center, a sporting facility, opened late last year with 13 group spaces, including meeting rooms and a great hall.
Frontier Justice, a venue that includes boutique shopping, meeting rooms and a firing range, opened in November 2017 and accommodates teambuilding activities.
Manhattan
Widgets Family Fun Center, which accommodates group parties and team challenges including laser tag, opened in summer 2017.
