The Warwick Denver completed a comprehensive renovation in January that included all of its 216 guest rooms and suites. Also part of the project was a refurbishment of the hotel’s meeting space, including the Millennium Ballroom, which is located on the 15th floor and offers city views.
The Moxy Denver Cherry Creek, a new boutique hotel by Marriott, opened in November 2017 with 170 guest rooms and meeting space for small groups. The hotel also features an outdoor Beer Garden with local craft brews and grab-and-go-bites.
In September 2017, an 18-story hotel tower opened in downtown Denver with a 233-room AC Hotels by Marriott (www.marriott.com) and the 272-room Le Meridien Denver Downtown. The combined property features Denver’s highest rooftop bar, 54Thirty, and meeting space for groups of up to 598 people.
The Kimpton Hotel Born opened last August adjacent to Denver’s Union Station. The 199-room hotel offers 8,300 square feet of meeting space that includes street-level and rooftop patios and two restaurants and bars.
Boulder
The Hiltons on Canyon opened in Boulder in late 2017. The complex combines the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boulder and the Hilton Garden Inn Boulder in two five-story buildings offering a combined 376 guest rooms, many of which feature mountain views. Together they offer 9,500 square feet of meeting space, including a 6,600-square-foot ballroom. Also included are two state-of-the-art fitness centers and a rooftop pool.
In January, the historic Hotel Boulderado completed an extensive restoration. The project was designed to update the 160-room hotel while still preserving the its more than 100-year legacy (the hotel opened in 1909).
