BEAVER CREEK, Colo.
Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa announced the addition of Ashley Okamura to its team as director of event planning.
In the role, Okamura will oversee the Event Service and Banquet Department and be responsible for events forecasting, banquet scheduling, meeting planner satisfaction and revenue generation.
Okamura started her hotel career at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in the banquets department, soon advancing into Catering Sales. Her subsequent experience includes stints at the St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah as a catering and event manager, the W Hotel in Downtown San Diego as a catering sales manager, Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif., as the associate director of catering, and the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah as a national sales manager.
