TORONTO
Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto announced the appointment of Ron Pellerine to the position of general manager.
Pellerine joins the hotel from the 317-room Langham Hotel, Boston where he served as general manager from 2015 to March 2017. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, covering all aspects of hotel operations, including a particular passion for food and beverage.

Prior to his time in Boston, Pellerine held the position of general manager of the Langham Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, where he oversaw Canada’s largest hotel. He was first appointed to general manager in 2011, when the property was managed by Delta. Preceding his time at the Langham Hospitality Group, Pellerine worked internationally throughout Europe and Asia with the AccorHotels Group.
The 152-room Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto features 14,600 square feet of meeting space across four areas, including three meeting rooms and five event rooms. There is also an outdoor garden terrace.
