Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa announced the appointment of Christina Richardson as associate director of sales. In her new role Richardson will lead leisure sales efforts for the resort.
“We’re thrilled to have Christina join our team here at Hyatt Regency Maui,” said Ben Premack, director of sales and marketing for the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. “She has fantastic Hawaiian resort experience and certainly knows how to build programs that attract the leisure guests to the islands.”
Richardson has served in various sales roles on Oahu for the last 12 years. She began her hospitality career with Hyatt at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach in Southern California, then moved to Hawaii and began working on Oahu’s North Shore at Turtle Bay Resort. She also has experience at The Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider, Sheraton Princess Kaiulani and Sheraton Waikiki.
Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa recently underwent a multimillion –dollar renovation to its meeting and events spaces, plus added a new Regency Club, and was awarded LEED-EBOM Silver Level certification. The 806-rooms the resort’s amenities includes a luxury spa and fitness center, championship golf, tennis courts, SCUBA and water sports, restaurants and lounges, shopping, and over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, as well as expert-led stargazing, an award-winning luau, and wildlife tours.
