SOUTH BEND, Ind.
Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame is now open. The six-story building, which is owned by Kite Realty and managed by Hilton, includes 164 one-bedroom and studio suites, 9,000 square feet of conference and banquet space and a sixth-floor deck overlooking the University of Notre Dame campus. Traditions, an on-site, full-service restaurant offers seating for 180 people.
A 20-foot waterfall welcomes guests as they enter the hotel and there are plenty of massive windows, skylights and an indoor fire feature to give the new hotel an upscale, modern feel. The restaurant also includes doors that lift and convert into an awning with the touch of a button to unify the dining room with the outdoor patio, which also includes a fire pit. The meeting space’s banquet area can be separated into smaller, more intimate spaces.
