LaKota Oaks Completes Renovation in Norwalk

LaKota Oaks, a hotel and conference center, completed a comprehensive interior design and technological renovation. The Norwalk, Connecticut, property, formerly Dolce Norwalk, was acquired and rebranded by LaKota Hotels & Resorts last year.

The multimillion-dollar project and transformation of the historic property was led by local Norwalk-based Architectural and Interior Design Firm, Bavier Design, LLC.

A former monastery, Lakota Oaks is set on 66 acres which includes 1.6 miles of trails through rolling lawns, four ponds, outdoor terraces and wooded grounds.

A grand oak leaf chandelier in the lobby welcomes guests to the hotel’s 123 guest rooms which have undergone head-to-toe renovations.

Property amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, four-lane indoor lap pool, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, outdoor tennis and bocce ball courts.

On-site food and beverage concepts include a bar, two restaurant options and a food-service system designed for the convenience of conference hospitality.

The conference center features 22 meeting rooms across more than 10,500 square feet of IACC-certified space.

The “LaKota Conference Center Concept” is a special product exclusive for meetings and conferences. The center has dedicated and flexible spaces able to host small- or medium-size groups in a state-of-the-art learning center that is perfect for board meetings, conferences, corporate retreats and team-building events.
