Southern Michigan’s FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek celebrated its latest project with a groundbreaking ceremony in June 2019. Along with the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, the property began construction of a second hotel tower and additional amenities. The target completion date is late 2020.
Firekeeper Casino Hotel's new eight-story hotel tower will provide an additional 203 guest rooms, including fourteen suites, as well as a transformed hotel lobby area, a new signature restaurant, new high-limit slot and table game areas and a new VIP lounge.

The 39,000-square-foot first level will showcase the new lobby bar and front desk. FireKeepers Casino Hotel's signature restaurant, Nibi, will have a new home in the tower and will offer space for about 125 people seated, along with a private dining area for up to 20.
Currently, Firekeeper Casino Hotel offers over 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space across nine meeting rooms and a ballroom that can accommodate over 1,100 guests.
This new hotel tower will give the property more guest rooms, dining outlets and lounges, enabling Firekeepers Casino Hotel to host larger meetings and events onsite.
