Vegas Vickie will soon make her return to Downtown Las Vegas. The iconic kicking cowgirl neon sign that hung above the Fremont Street Experience will make her new home in the lobby of the new Circa Resort & Casino when it opens in 2020.
Developed by brothers Derek and Greg Stevens, the property will add 777 guest rooms and suites to the Fremont Street Experience area and is the first ground-up resort development in downtown since 1980. The resort sits where the Las Vegas Club, Glitter Gulch and Mermaids Casino were once operating.

“There is a lot of unmet demand for fun in Las Vegas,” said Derek Stevens. “At Circa, our goal is to create a destination resort in a historic part of the city, while showing guests the time of their lives. We plan to double down on the world-class service Las Vegas has always been known for while bringing personalized experiences to a new level.”
The Stevens brother have had several ventures in Las Vegas over the past decade, including the D Las Vegas, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.

The gaming resort will feature a range of restaurants, the longest outdoor bar on Fremont Street Experience, a full-service spa and a two-level casino with state-of-the-art slot and table gaming options. A representative for the property said there will be meeting and event space, but at publication time details had not been released.
The 1.25-million-square-foot property will be the tallest tower north of the Strip and will be defined by a bold design, accented by a backlit roofline and a multi-tiered pool amphitheater.
The amphitheater will feature several pools and a massive screen with the latest high-resolution technology. The venue will be complemented by a food and beverage menu, private cabanas and music from DJs.

The property will be home to the largest sportsbook in Las Vegas. The multi-level, stadium-style sportsbook will also be equipped with the largest screen in sportsbook history. The Stevens brothers recently announced a partnership with sports gaming media organization Vegas Stats and Information Network to bring an in-house broadcast studio to Circa.
Also at Circa will be “Garage Mahal,” a parking structure specifically designed with ridesharing in mind. The centrally located nine-story garage will have 1,201 parking spaces, and with the growing use of Uber and Lyft, will allow guests to conveniently and efficiently travel to and from the property.
